Biography

William holds an LLB from KNUST and an LLM in International Taxation from the University of Florida as well as an MBA from the University of Ghana. He is a member of the Ghana Bar Association, Tax Practitioner of the Chartered Institute of Taxation, Ghana and Master Tax Professional, South African Institutes of Tax Professionals. He currently works as a Senior Associate Consultant at Ali-Nakyea & Associates, a firm of tax lawyers, solicitors and consultants. He is also a Senior Lecturer in Tax Law at Lancaster University, Ghana. He has been a lecturer at the Business School of Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) and a part-time lecturer at the Graduate School of Pentecost University College and currently a lecturer at the Faculty of Law of the Central University where he teaches law.  Contract, commercial law and tax law. William contributed to the Department of Finance’s workshops on drafting legislation for safe harbor provisions in transfer pricing, base erosion and profit shifting (BEPS) regulations, transfer pricing issues in technology transfer agreements, and information exchange for customs valuation and transfer pricing regimes. William co-authored the fourth edition of the book Law of Taxation in Ghana with Dr. Benjamin Kunbuor and Abdallah Ali-Nakyea.
